A Refreshing Summer Break

Summer in the South consists of a few things, heat, humidity and bugs. Sometimes one can be worse than the other. We spend a lot of time either inside or playing in the water. My kids prefer the latter hands down, every time. I foresee a lot of time in the new kiddie pool in the back yard.

During our Summer Soiree we invited lots of kids to come over and play. We made sure we had lots of Mott’s for the little ones to drink in between sliding into the kiddie pool.

When it’s time for my kids to take a break they are generally stopping to grab a drink. We’ve been a half and half family forever. That means that we mix our juice with water. We do this to cut down on the sugar content, but Mott’s for Tots does all the work for me! They have diluted to juice while still delivering the essential nutrition, like vitamin A, C & E that little kiddos need. We love Mott’s for Tots in our house because of this.

We can pack up the Juice boxes when we are out and about and I don’t have to worry about bringing cups to water down the juice. Another great benefit to the juice being diluted with water is that it has 40% less sugar than 100% apple juice. Now that’s something Moms everywhere can rejoice. When we aren’t running around on the go with our juice boxes we have the large 64 oz containers. The kids loved our umbrella straws. Let’s face it, everything is cooler with an umbrella in your drink!

So far our Summer has been a fantastic one. It’s been going by so fast. Before I know it, I’ll be packing Mott’s into my first graders school lunches. Sometimes I wish it would just slow down. These are the times when we build such great memories together.

*Mott’s Fruit Punch Rush and Wild Grape Surge have 15g sugar and the market average of 100% fruit juices and blends have 25g sugar.
