You know that gif that everyone loves to share with the woman saying, “Ain't nobody got time for that”? That is me on a daily basis. People say to me all the time that they don't know how I do it, balancing school, work, and life and honestly, I don't either. I'm just going with the flow and hoping something doesn't fall apart.
My house is dirtier than other mom's and I'm OK with that. Because I'm getting stuff done, big stuff, life goal stuff! When I first went to college I wasn't driven like I am now. Which makes a huge difference in my grades. I've been on the Dean's and President's List every semester. I'm officially a junior and that means I'm over the hump and done with all those tedious general education classes (*cough* math) and I'm taking classes in my area of study so I am enjoying it more.
Between going to class on campus and running around for the kids I need a pick me up and something that is easy to grab. I love to grab an Honest Tea® and Lorissa's Kitchen for a good protein snack. They are better for you snack options and easily portable. I throw them into my backpack and snack in between classes. I still haven't found an Honest Tea flavor I didn't like. My favorites are the Honey Green Tea and the Half Tea and Half Lemonade drinks the best. Aside from being organic, they are Just a Tad Sweet.
Lorissa’s Kitchen is made from 100% grass-fed beef and responsibly raised pork. It has a clean label and is high in protein, low in carbs, has no MSG, no preservatives and is gluten-free. I can just focus better if I'm not hungry. I never want to be the student in the class that stomach growls loud in the middle of a test. I love all the great varieties of Lorissa's Kitchen also. It lets me change up my snacking options with flavors.
Right now you can get $1.00 cash back from Ibotta when you buy Honest Tea and Lorissa's Kitchen exclusively at Walmart!
How do you fuel those on the go days?
