This past week I had a few bloggers visit my house to have a fun get together and share our childhood cartoons with our kids. Netflix is something I love talking about and their massive library of shows and movies is even bigger with all the great family content that is now available. With parents spending nearly double on summer entertainment for their kids than holiday gifts, Netflix is a breathe of fresh air.

They feature great family movie night ideas and shows for the curious kids in our homes fro 2-12 year olds. My favorite are all the great shows from my childhood. That’s why I selected it to be the theme of my party! I’ve gotten my daughter into shows like The Magic School Bus, My Little Pony, Scooby Doo, Smurfs, Care Bears and Strawberry shortcake. There are a ton ore but these are the ones I used at the party.

We played detective like Scooby Doo and found a hidden treasure with out spy glass!

I hope Really, Are You Serious, Southern Girl Ramblings, Kayla Aimee and My Brown Baby had a blast!

Did you know that a year of Netflix costs less than taking a family of 5 to the movies twice? Crazy right! The new section is available for members and non-members! Always without commercials, one of my favorite things about Netflix! is a new destination designed to meet your family’s summertime entertainment needs. On, Parents can find lists of movies and TV shows for all kinds of special summer moments.

I personally have never used Netflix, I am so old school so I am usually slow to adapt to new things. But all my friends that use it love it, so who knows maybe I will give it a try.
