Description: For the holiday season, Rock City’s Enchanted Garden of Lights is a family tradition. Chosen as an ABA Top 100 Event and a repeated Top 20 Event by Southeast Tourism Society, this light extravaganza features more than 30 holiday scenes and LED lights that transform the gardens’ natural daytime splendor into a fantasyland. Enjoy gingerbread cookie decorating, hot cocoa and nightly entertainment. Group rates available. Dinner with Santa is also back this year!

Rock City’s 19th annual Enchanted Garden of Lights opens next week as an area holiday tradition! The magic begins Friday, November 22nd from 6-9 pm and shines through January 4th. Walk through this winter wonderland of dazzling lights and scenes, while drinking hot cocoa and meeting some of Santa’s elves. Dinner with Santa himself is also an option!
Dinner with Santa offers VIP admission to the Lights and a buffet dinner, with extras for children that include a small gift, cookie-decorating voucher and of course, a visit with St. Nick! Opening weekend features “college nights” – with Lee University and UTC groups performing. Students and faculty at the respective schools get in for $6 on their college night (with school I.D.) – Friday, November 22 is Lee University Night and Saturday, November 23 is UTC Night.
In addition to a new LED star being hung over the High Falls at Lover’s Leap, a new Santa scene is also displayed, featuring a backdrop from the Radio City Music Hall’s Rockettes show! For more festive fun, get a Sugar Plum Fairy Makeover, decorate a stocking and listen to live Christmas music in the North Pole Lodge. And lookout for Jerry the Toy Soldier Mime!

A portion of each ticket sold goes to benefit local families at the Ronald McDonald House (RMH). Rock City is committed to continuing its efforts of partnering with community organizations like RMH, as well as the MaryEllen Locher Foundation (MELF). Pink Survivor birdhouse ornaments are available through December, with a portion of proceeds benefitting MELF and breast cancer awareness.
