Six Flags Over Georgia is now open during the holidays for a fun new tradition for your family. Six Flags Over Georgia presents the magic of Holiday in the Park, November 22 through January 4. See the park transformed into a winter wonderland with millions of twinkling lights. Go big on your favorite thrill rides and be sure to visit the one and only Santa Claus.
When you first arrive, stick around the front for the giant Christmas tree lighting. Before Christmas it starts at 6pm and after it will be 5pm. This 25 foot tree is gorgeous a the perfect thing to kick off a night of fun. Another must see in the park is the Because it’s Christmas show. When Tommy and Elizabeth make a last minute wish for their family to be together at Christmas, they get some unexpected help from Santa’s little helpers. Daily at the Crystal Pistol Music Hall. It is filled with great characters and a beautiful happy ending.
Ride the train to see all the great lights on your way to see Santa Claus at the North pole. Visit the Candlelight Carousel and listen to some of your favorite traditional carols in the beautiful holiday atmosphere. It was my favorite thing in the park because it was so beautiful.
We sat down and wrote a letter to Santa Clause courtesy of Coca-Cola. The kids liked placing it in the giant mail box.
When you purchase a holiday souvenir mug you’ll get free hot chocolate refills all night. You can roast marshmallows at roasting stations around the park as well. There is a variety of fun new foods to try as well like special red velvet funnel cakes or apple cinnamon or pumpkin spice pretzels.
