Thank you Tom’s of Maine for sponsoring this post.
This month has been a whirlwind with trips and school ending (and starting again). I was able to slow down long enough to enjoy a fantastic girls trip to New Orleans. I had never been on a trip with friends that wasn’t part of a blogging conference. It was nice not to have to work and just enjoy each other’s company. They make me smile, much like Tom’s of Maine Luminous Toothpaste makes my smile brighter.
It ended up being a short trip for me because I had to come home early to make it to Peanut’s dance recital. We were still able to visit a few really cool museums and restaurants in the area though. Just being able to hang out and chat with these ladies makes me smile. Throw in some good food and few drinks, and it’s a party.
We hit a few of my favorite spots in the French Quarter including 21st Amendment for the best drinks and live music and Desire Oyster Bar for one of the best meals in NOLA. I experienced my first Snowball while I was there also. We waited quite a long time to try it too, thank goodness it was worth the wait.
We soaked up some of the excellent histories of the city with tours of the VooDoo Museum, Pharmacy Museum, Rum distillery and a cemetery tour. I learned a ton that I didn’t before. It was fascinating.
I smile brighter because I use Tom’s of Maine Luminous White whitening toothpaste as well. I brought it with me on my trip to New Orleans because I wanted to remove some of the coffee stains I have on my teeth. I wish I could quit drinking coffee for this reason, but I can’t live without it so I can only try to help with the stains it leaves on my teeth. It’s hard finding great green brands that I feel confident using and giving to my family. Tom’s of Maine uses a clinically proven natural whitening technology to remove surface stains and is also safe for enamel and everyday use. You can see a difference in as little as two weeks. I like that they don’t use artificial flavors, colors or preservatives, and there is no animal testing. My girls have been using Tom’s of Maine for some time because of that very reason. I stock up on all my Tom’s of Maine products at Amazon. Tom’s of Maine values partnering with its consumers, suppliers and community organizations to support lasting, positive change that is good for people and the planet.
I can’t wait for our next trip. While we are still trying to convince K to join us for the D23 Expo, I know that we will have many more adventures in the future. Our trips are worth a 1,000 smiles.
I was selected for this opportunity as a member of CLEVER and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.
I’ve been using Toms of Maine toothpaste without fluoride for a couple of years, ever since i found out that fluoride is not good for someone with hypothyroid. I like some of Toms other products, too.
We love it and it’s the only thing the girls use.
She doesn’t know she wants to come. I can feel it. Yay for reliving this trip in your post. Love you!
