Like I had mentioned in my last post I have lots of Chicken from Zaycon we are trying to use up and not use the same five recipes we seem to use. So I was on Knorr's website looking for something to make for dinner that evening. I've been eating tiny meals because my stomach is so upset, Chicken Noodle Soup sounded like the perfect idea. Not to mention it was Souper Simple Chicken Noodle Soup.
Here is what you'll need
|Vegetable oil||1 Tbsp.|
|Medium onion, finely chopped||1|
|Carrot, thinly sliced||1|
|Stalk celery, thinly sliced||1|
|Hot water||6 cups|
|Pots Knorr® Homestyle Stock Chicken||2|
|Boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces||1 lb.|
|Thin egg noodles||4 oz.|
Heat oil in large saucepot over medium heat and cook onion, carrot and celery, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in hot water and Knorr® Homestyle Stock Chicken. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring to melt Stock. Reduce heat to low and stir in chicken. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes. Stir in noodles and simmer an additional 5 minutes or until noodles are tender and chicken is thoroughly cooked.
I love how much of a space saver these little pots are compared to the cartons of broth. My pantry is normally overflowing with stuff. Not to mention that tastes really good. It was by far the best Chicken Noodle Soup I've ever made.
Here are some pictures of my shop and recipe making. Let me know what you think!
