Southern Style Sunday DinnerLooking for some tasty Southern Style Sunder dinner ideas? I have compiled a list of our favorites Southern recipes sure to please anyone regardless of your location!

I’ve lived in the south nearly my whole life, and I still can’t make fried chicken. My husband calls me a southern disgrace. So I leave the fried chicken to him unless he wants it burnt. I’m a baker more than I’m a southern cook. I make everything else great, but I just haven’t mastered it yet.

I love southern food though. It’s the perfect comfort food. Plus my husband is a good ole boy at heart. So I love these awesome recipes that I found for Southern Style Sunday dinners. Some are my favorites and some are my husband’s favorites.

You can’t go wrong with Pecan Crusted Chicken

Pork Chops are another staple, here is a tasty Instant Pot recipe with bacon Brussel sprouts!Instant Pot Pork Chops with Mustard Cream Sauce and Smoky Bacon Brussel Sprouts

Spicy Southern Fried Chicken – I can’t fry chicken to save my life, but it’s one of my FAVORITE Southern dishes. Add in a little spice to get it the perfect kick.

Classic Chicken Pot Pie – Another favorite of mine is the hearty pot pie. I’m sadly deprived of this dish because my husband doesn’t like peas cooked into food. He needs his own “No peas” pot pie!

Country Fried Steak with Sawmill Gravy – Sawmill gravy is where it’s at! I prefer it smothers on biscuits as well.

Glazed Easter Ham – Glazed ham is just beautiful to look at as well.

Chicken and Dumplings – A giant bowl of yum if you ask me!

Bring on the gravy, fried foods, and biscuits!

What are your favorite southern style meals?
