  • Spend the Day in the Snow and Holiday Spirit at Stone Mountain Park

Spending a day at Stone Mountain Park during the holiday season has become an annual tradition with my family. My kids talk and ask about it all year long. I have girls so the Snow Angel is their favorite. Stone Mountain Park transforms during the end of Fall and Winter into a Winter Wonderland of lights, marshmallow roasting and SNOW! Yes Snow in Atlanta. This year families have been enjoying the snow in 70 degree weather.

Located on Memorial Hall, head down Avalanche Alley, Atlanta’s only snow-covered 400-foot tubing hill. Single tube runners must be 42″ tall. Grab five people over 36″ tall to ride together in the family tubes. After your done going up and down Snow Mountain a few times head down to the SnowZone to check out the Snow Fort and build a snow man or castle. There is sledding for the little ones under 3 here! Make sure you bring a change of clothes so that you can thaw out and enjoy the Stone Mountain Christmas activities.

Stone Mountain Christmas features thousands of christmas lights decorating the Crossroads Village. You’ll enjoy shows like the new Forever Christmas, Holly Jolly Cabaret, A Crossroads Christmas Carol, Toyrific, Mistletales with Mrs. Claus, and everyones favorite 4d experience The Polar Express. The Stone Mountain train is transformed into a Singalong Christmas train. Then as it gets dark you’ll get to see the Christmas parade with all the great characters including Santa, the Snow Angel and more.  Stay till the end of the night and you’ll be treated to a treat. The Snow Angel makes her appearance and makes it snow on the Crossroad Village and fireworks light the sky!

Make Stone Mountain Park a family tradition with your family. Stay and play all day with the family combo pass. If you have a family of 4 this is the only way to go!

Firebird
really liked it
Firebird is a solid dark romantasy read. You have dragon-shifter political leaders of Rome. A witch who I don’t think we have seen the full extent of her power yet. There were so many little side stories told that I believe our FMC will ...
Sunrise on the Reaping
it was amazing
Oh Haymich, my heart is shattered for you. This was the perfect bridge between The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes and Catching Fire. Linking the wickedness of The Hunger Games with the victors who came together to end them. If Suzanne C...
Some Like It Scot
liked it
This was a sweet romance read. I really enjoyed the audiobook narrators (Joshua Manning and Stina Nielsen). I don’t usually read books that fall into the religious category, but I’m a sucker for Scots and Irishman so that is why I wanted...
My Demon Hunter
really liked it
I am thoroughly enjoying the Hell Bent series. My Demon Hunter was even better than My Funny Demon Valentine. I’m a sucker for demonology stories, and these are filled with all kinds of interesting characters. This one features a plus-si...
