Since ending my previous weight loss program, I’ve been struggling to keep the weight off. I’ve come to face a reality about my eating habits, I like the fact I love to snack. I love flavorful food and avoiding it is hard. We don’t keep super unhealthy snack foods in our house so my snacking doesn’t come down to a box of Oreos like I’d like. It’s just incredibly defeating sometimes when you step on the scale.
So I’ve started using Weight Watchers online program and tools. To help keep track of what I’m eating so that I can manage my weight better and learn sensible eating habits. Another reason I’m so excited about starting the Weight Watchers program is the fact that I’ve seen it work for my sister over the years. Every time she starts the program I see her succeed. She is currently doing the program as well since my latest niece arrived. She’s lost 35 lbs on the program. I asked her what she loves most about the program and here is what she had to say. She loves the flexibility of Weight Watchers and that she gets to eat the food she wants. Having the apps makes this easier for her.
I couldn’t agree more! Having everything in the palm of my hand makes it so much easier. We don’t go anywhere without our phones anymore. So having apps that I can access to scan my food to track it. If I’m in a hurry I can snap a picture of my food and calculate it later in the day. Which I find to be the most helpful. I’ve also set up reminders at each meal of the day to track what I ate. This way I never forget. When dinner rolls around I can browse the recipes to make something healthy that everyone in the family will love. Know what you plan on eating if you’re going out to a restaurant so that you can adjust your points in the morning. Especially with the huge database of meals already calculated in the system. There is a reason you see Weight Watchers points on menus across the country. It works!
Time to get back on track. To start eating “normal” while still making good choices. Fingers crossed for me.
It can be difficult to maintain momentum during the weightloss journey. I have not done weight watchers, but all of my friends who have tried it have nothing but good things to say about the program.

I wish you all the success! I think Weight Watchers is one of the few programs that is actually realistic enough that people won’t fall off the wagon necessarily when they’re easing back into a regular dietary routine.

This is a struggle for so many. Its hard once you plateau to figure out how you can lose the last amount of weight. I always have to switch up what I am doing and just keep my end goal in sight. Keep up the good work!!

I live the fact that Weight Watchers has transitioned their program to fit our current lives. I need to look into the new options.
Weight Watchers is great! I have several friends that are following the program using links they found online (they don’t go to meetings) and are having great success with it. I think WW is definitely THE best program out there!

You know, weight loss is such a touchy subject for me. It shouldn’t be, but it is. I feel like people who talk about it to me are criticizing me when I am fully aware that this is not the case. I have about 60 lbs I need to loose. That is not a lot of weight to some, but to me, that feels like an insane amount of weight to lose. I miss the days of bikinis and a guilt-free Mars bar but find the thought of ‘trying’ to lose weight stressful.
I did Weight Watchers when I was a eleven and loved it. I felt like I was learning how to eat properly instead of dieting. I think I may have to give them some consideration again.
You look amazing in the picture at the top of this post, by the way. I am certain you will do well with this new Weight Watchers 360 plan!
