Since ending my previous weight loss program, I’ve been struggling to keep the weight off. I’ve come to face a reality about my eating habits, I like the fact I love to snack. I love flavorful food and avoiding it is hard. We don’t keep super unhealthy snack foods in our house so my snacking doesn’t come down to a box of Oreos like I’d like. It’s just incredibly defeating sometimes when you step on the scale.
So I’ve started using Weight Watchers online program and tools. To help keep track of what I’m eating so that I can manage my weight better and learn sensible eating habits. Another reason I’m so excited about starting the Weight Watchers program is the fact that I’ve seen it work for my sister over the years. Every time she starts the program I see her succeed. She is currently doing the program as well since my latest niece arrived. She’s lost 35 lbs on the program. I asked her what she loves most about the program and here is what she had to say. She loves the flexibility of Weight Watchers and that she gets to eat the food she wants. Having the apps makes this easier for her.
I couldn’t agree more! Having everything in the palm of my hand makes it so much easier. We don’t go anywhere without our phones anymore. So having apps that I can access to scan my food to track it. If I’m in a hurry I can snap a picture of my food and calculate it later in the day. Which I find to be the most helpful. I’ve also set up reminders at each meal of the day to track what I ate. This way I never forget. When dinner rolls around I can browse the recipes to make something healthy that everyone in the family will love. Know what you plan on eating if you’re going out to a restaurant so that you can adjust your points in the morning. Especially with the huge database of meals already calculated in the system. There is a reason you see Weight Watchers points on menus across the country. It works!
Time to get back on track. To start eating “normal” while still making good choices. Fingers crossed for me.
