The Camera Tech You’ve Been Waiting For

Every blogger dreams of having the best camera. Having great pictures on your blog and social media is important to building an audience. When you see a picture of a recipe, you created you want it to be mouth watering. When you see a travel photo, you want to yearn to be there. Aside from a good laptop, I think it’s the most important blogging tool. It’s also been on my list of “needs an upgrade” this year.

My camera is nice, but I don’t have all the cool features I really need like the built-in wi-fi and NFC (Near Field Communication) to easily share pictures with my mobile device. This could make Instagram sharing so much easier. I got to see some of these new features in action at the Best Buy Tech Home here in Atlanta. Aside from all the great smart devices, I found in the home; I was drawn to the Office section to see the new Canon products. A member of the Geek Squad was there to show me how I can easily share not only with my mobile phone but also my TV, computer, and printer without any wires or taking out SD chips.

I’m a sucker for the Mirrorless compact DSLR’s. That is what I’m currently using, and I love it. The Canon EOS M3 is a great addition to their lineup. It has the built-in wi-fi and NFC technology that I mentioned before. They also had the Canon EOS Rebel T6i to show us with the Canon Connect Station which is like your photo command center. It has 1Tb of storage and can connect to your TV with an HDMI cable. You can also wirelessly print and transfer photos with the NFC, you just tap the camera to the base and that’s it. photo-sep-28-10-54-15-am

I love being able to print my pictures at home now also. I have an older model of the Canon PIXMA printer, but the one they had in the office is more my style because it has all the office functions I need like scanning, copying, fax, and printing. It’s the perfect All-in-one printer. I’ve actually seen these printers in  photo centers for printing larger images.  I love that you can just select an image on your camera and send it to the Canon PIXMA MX922. photo-sep-28-10-55-37-am
