As you’ve probably figured out by now we are huge fans of Callaway Gardens. We’ve been a handful of times this yearalone. The only way to truly experience the Gardens is staying on the Gardens grounds because you get tickets into the Gardens just for staying there. We recently visited Callaway Gardens for the Harvest Moon Festival and we stayed at the amazing The Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens. Nestled in the heart of Callaway Gardens you can easily walk to the Golf course, Robin Beach and Mr. Carson’s Vegetable Garden. Heck if you aren’t lazy like me you can walk or bike to any of Callaway Gardens attractions.

Located an hour outside of Atlanta, The Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens blends the luxuries of an upscale resort with the simple touches of Mother Nature. Driving up to The Lodge and Spa you will see that immediately. Luxuries doesn’t even begin to demonstrate the aw I felt when we checked into our room. Designed in tandem with the Callaway Gardens mission of connecting man with nature, guests enjoy a rustic Ralph Lauren experience. Even down to the soaps and shampoos used. You can tell that they are very nature conscious.

Celebrating the holiday season, The Lodge and Spa provides a magical getaway by combining resort traditions with the Fantasy in Lights festival — the Southeast’s largest light display offering more than 8 million lights along five miles of wooded scenery.

Why let the kids have all the fun though, The Jack Frost Treatment at Spa Prunifolia, named a “Top 100 Spa” by Conde Nast, will surely make your trip a relaxing one. This treatment tingles the holiday senses by providing:
• A full-body massage, wrap and exfoliations
• Indigenous ingredients including calming seaweed, evergreen oils of White Pine, Balsam Fir, Silver Fir and Rosemary Citron, help soothe the senses and rejuvenate for the holiday season
• Ending with a revitalizing foot treatment using tingly Peppermint and Tea Tree

Our first visit to The Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens was  together as a family and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We walked around the resort looking at the many fountains and the heated pool. Each room had it’s own balcony which my daughter loved since we were on the top floor. We plan on returning to The Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens for a nice romantic getaway so that we can enjoy the true luxury of sleeping in, big buffet breakfasts and spa treatments. Around the holiday it must be so magical and peaceful.

Firebird
really liked it
Firebird is a solid dark romantasy read. You have dragon-shifter political leaders of Rome. A witch who I don’t think we have seen the full extent of her power yet. There were so many little side stories told that I believe our FMC will ...
Sunrise on the Reaping
it was amazing
Oh Haymich, my heart is shattered for you. This was the perfect bridge between The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes and Catching Fire. Linking the wickedness of The Hunger Games with the victors who came together to end them. If Suzanne C...
Some Like It Scot
liked it
This was a sweet romance read. I really enjoyed the audiobook narrators (Joshua Manning and Stina Nielsen). I don’t usually read books that fall into the religious category, but I’m a sucker for Scots and Irishman so that is why I wanted...
My Demon Hunter
really liked it
I am thoroughly enjoying the Hell Bent series. My Demon Hunter was even better than My Funny Demon Valentine. I’m a sucker for demonology stories, and these are filled with all kinds of interesting characters. This one features a plus-si...
