JaMonkey loves reading books. She has three bookshelves throughout the house. I have books from my childhood that I’ve given her. Stocked up in consignment sales and our family has contributed to her stash as well. So we were excited when local Author Angela Muse asked if we’d like to read her new book The Nutt Family: An Acorny Adventure.

It’s a fantastic adventure that a pair of acorn siblings Chess Nut and his sister Praline find themselves on by accident. A run story of scary events (to an acorn) like being raked with the leaves or a squirrel snatching them up. When you spend your time day dreaming about your adventures it’s fun and overwhelming when you fall into one.

Illustrated by Ewa Podles in a digital format makes the story bright and colorful. I love the names of the family members. Chess Nut, Hazel Nut. Super cute. It’s our current favorite bedtime story right now.

You can find The Nutt Family: An Acorny Adventure from 4 Eyes Books. While you are there check out Angela’s other stories like The Pig Princess. Or on Amazon in Paperback edition or Kindle edition. Subscribe to 4 Eyes Books site so that you don’t miss when the Kindle version is offered for FREE.

We were provided the book the review. All opinions are my own.
