All of the Toy Story 4 Easter Eggs You May Have Missed

Toy Story 4 is a hilarious treat you didn’t know you truly wanted. At first, I wasn’t sure about another Toy Story movie. Toy Story 3 wrecked me! I ugly cried in the theater and came out all puffy and red-faced. But I take back all those thoughts because the story was everything I could ask for and more. Toy Story 4 has more Easter Eggs than any other Pixar film, and were so much fun to spot.

The new characters had me rolling laughing. Pixar still managed to make me shed some tears, as Pixar loves to do. Duke Caboom (Keanu Reeves), Giggle McDimples (Ally Maki), Forky (Tony Hale) and Bunny (Jordan Peele) and Ducky (Keegan-Michael Key) are the perfect addition to the Toys. I need a movie with them all day long!Duke Caboom - Toy Story 4

The all-star in this story is Bo Peep! She is a kick butt, take no excuses kid of gal that was amazing to watch race around the screen. I’m so glad we finally got more of her story and see how she has evolved as a character. Bo Peep Toy Story 4

Is there a Pixar short before the movie?

Nope, I know, I was shocked by this as well. I feel like there is a Toy Story short that appears at the beginning of the film that fills this gap though.

Is there a Toy Story 4 end credits scene?

Short answer, YES! There are actually quite a few mid-credit scenes that you should stay for. I promise you won’t regret it. The ending is so satisfying that the whole theater cheered!

Not that you need a reason to see Toy Story 4, but I promise everyone in the whole family is going to love it.

Toy Story 4 is in theaters June 21. Get your tickets now from Fandango or Atom Tickets (save $5 off with code SQUAD)

Toy Story 4 Easter Eggs

But amidst all the laughs and tears I had a blast seeing all the Easter Eggs in this movie. The director Josh Cooley and Producers Mark Neilson and Jonas Rivera said that Toy Story 4 has the most Easter Eggs of any Pixar movie. They also mention that the Antique store has one from EVERY Pixar film and if you pause the movie at any point in the store you are bound to find something.

If you want to be surprised by these finds I suggest you stop reading now. I won’t give away any plots, just general locations that are clearly visible in the trailers and give you an idea of when to look out for them.

Here are the Toy Story 4 Easter Eggs I was able to spot during my first viewing.

There are Hidden Mickey’s throughout the whole movie. Some are in patterns on furniture or film reels.

The license plate RMRF97 – During some of the Studio Stories in the bonus features of Toy Story 2 there was a story about “The Movie Vanishes,” which is about how they accidentally deleted almost all of  the movie from the drives with a command “rm -r -f *”  They managed to find a backup on Galyn Susman computer at home while she was working on maternity leave! This incident happened in 1997 during production.

There are some “old timers” voices that you may recognize in Bonnie’s room! Mel Brooks, Carol Burnett, Carl Reiner, and Betty White!

There also appears to be something Zurg related.

Polly Pocket – Not really an Easter egg but an awesome nostalgic moment to toys I used to own.

Second Chance Antique Store (LOTS IN HERE!)

A wonderful place for lots of old items to make an appearance again. The store owner looks awfully familiar too 😉 You’ll notice the store itself is an Easter Egg as well. Est. 1986 which is when Pixar was founded. The address of the antique store is also the street number address of Pixar (1200)

The big two I missed were the Pixar ball and A113. Normally those ones are glaring at me on the screen, I did laugh so hard I doubled over and could easily have missed it that way. Not to mention I was furiously taking notes from the MANY I saw.

Of course, there is also an Easter Egg for Onward, the upcoming Pixar movie, but we don’t usually discover those until the next movie comes out kind of like Incredibles 2 did with Duke Caboom.

These are just the Easter eggs that stood out to me and my Disney Pixar nerd friends. When I can pause scenes I’ll be able to spot a bunch more I’m sure I missed. Pixar is upping their Easter Egg game for sure!
