I’m an avid Adobe user. I generally only edit photos in Photoshop but I was given the Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 to try out and I find it really handy for the family photos that I sometimes had a hard time editing. Capture the moment now. Perfect the photo or video later. It’s easy with Elements. I’m not a Photoshop pro, in fact, I get stuck a lot. I end up only doing minor edits and then watermark and save. Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 has changed that. I love the easy tools that auto-tune your pictures and turn them from blah to BAM!
The Smart Fix and Auto Haze removal are my favorite tools by far. There are three different ways that you can edit images: Quick offers options that allow you to edit everything from brightness to color with fine-tuning that you can see before you click. Guided gives you the tools and how to use them on your images and then there is Expert mode as well for those that know what they are doing. Remove the camera shake from your selfies or clear the haze from landscape shots with the touch of a button.
In this image, I used the Auto Haze Removal. It was a sunny day and I was surrounded by giant pumpkins so the pictures came out a little hazy. After the haze removal, the picture looks crisp and shows the natural beauty of the dried corn. I didn’t enhance the photo anymore, but you could enhance the colors even more.
One feature I loved and I know a lot of parents are going to love is the Photomerge feature. I had two photos of the girls, in each one of the photos, one of the girls was looking away while the other was smiling. With Photomerge, I joined the two images together to create the perfect set of smiles!
This image was cute to begin with, but I wanted to enhance the colors of her eyes and the apples she was picking so I used some of the guided saturation enhancements to transform this picture.
You can add cool special effects in Adobe Elements 14 as well, no need to be a professional photoshopper either. The handy guided option tells you exactly what to do and how to fine-tune it to look the way you want it.
Adobe Premiere Elements 14 is a great way to jazz up your videos also. Create and Share- Share lasting memories in scrapbooks and cards that show your style. Share photos and movies via disc or on Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo and more. View them on 4K and HD TVs (new with Elements 14). And put a cool twist on your Facebook page with a custom cover photo.* Edit and view high-res 4K movies for the ultimate cinematic experience, and make a splash by easily adding animated titles and transitions.
