Travel Through Time (or with Him) in Through the Looking Glass

My obsession with Tim Burton continues to grow. While I was at the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration I got to see Alice’s Through the Looking Glass. Not only did I get to see the movie, I got to see the amazing costumes in person and hear from producer Suzanne Todd who was rocking some killer limited edition Alice shoes.

She gave us a cool behind the scenes look at the filming process before we watched the movie. Which turns out was mostly blue screen, but also some beautiful locations in England.  The movie is a visual smorgasbord for the mind. From the moment the movie starts you won’t be able to catch all the things happening on the screen. You’ll get to meet Time and then travel through the sea of time in Underland to save the Mad Hatters family. The Mad Hatter is slowly dying from his sorrow, and Alice is the only one that can help. On the way, Alice tries to help “fix” the Red Queen’s past so that she isn’t so angry all the time and along the way she discovers the truth about everyone’s past. In the process, the Master Clock is failing because of Alice’s journey through time.
As you can imagine, Time played by Sacha Baron Cohen is just as mad as the other group of characters from Underland. The move was amazing and I can’t wait to take my daughters to go see it as well. To get them excited about the movie we downloaded some fun Activity and Color Sheets.

    Firebird
    really liked it
Firebird is a solid dark romantasy read. You have dragon-shifter political leaders of Rome. A witch who I don’t think we have seen the full extent of her power yet. There were so many little side stories told that I believe our FMC will ...
    Sunrise on the Reaping
    it was amazing
Oh Haymich, my heart is shattered for you. This was the perfect bridge between The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes and Catching Fire. Linking the wickedness of The Hunger Games with the victors who came together to end them. If Suzanne C...

This was a sweet romance read. I really enjoyed the audiobook narrators (Joshua Manning and Stina Nielsen). I don’t usually read books that fall into the religious category, but I’m a sucker for Scots and Irishman so that is why I wanted...
    My Demon Hunter
    really liked it
I am thoroughly enjoying the Hell Bent series. My Demon Hunter was even better than My Funny Demon Valentine. I’m a sucker for demonology stories, and these are filled with all kinds of interesting characters. This one features a plus-si...
