The only thing cooler than seeing a podracer in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is having one roast meat for a tasty lunch. That is the idea behind Ronto Roasters, the meat stall in Black Spire Outpost.
The market is an open area snack/sandwich stand that will allow hungry guests to see a podracer engine hanging in the middle heating up the meat on a spit. A pitmaster droid, a former smelter droid named 8D-J8, turns the mechanical spit, grilling a large side of ronto—a massive beast native to the planet Tatooine.
Ronto Roasters is American cuisine and had food for $14.99 and under and you will be able to mobile order via the Disneyland App and the Play Disney Parks App. Some of the food items include Turkey Jerkey that comes in two flavors, spicy herb and sweet teriyaki. The Ronto Wrap, which is a grilled pita filled with grilled sausage, roasted pork, slaw, and Szechuan peppercorn sauce. Disney has been calling it “Clutch Sauce” because it has some heat and makes your clutch your throat kind of like when Darth Vader chokes you with the Force!
Drinks include the Meiloorun Juice, Sour Sarlacc or Tatooine Sunset. Meiloorun’s are a pink and orange fruit that is a favorite of rebel pilot Hera Syndulla! It looks like the inside is pinker though.

So what is a Ronto? Gentle and strong, rontos are favored pack animals for Tatooine’s Jawas. Travelers to the desert planet’s settlements routinely see rontos swaying under the weight of their cargoes and Jawa passengers.
This little stand looks like it is going to be great for a quick savory bit to eat. The Clutch Sauce will probably be my favorite. But I’m sure washing it down with some Meiloorun Juice will help.
