With more and more consumers doing the majority of their shopping online these days. UPS has the most extensive returns capabilities in the industry. There has been a 15% increase in retail returns in 2012 vs. 2011, according to UPS.

So on January 3, UPS will ship more than 520,000 packages from consumers back to retailers. Consumers can ship a return package at the UPS store, their local post office or hand it to a UPS driver.

  1. Since we no longer have a vehicle, I find myself shopping online, more and more often. We’re actually even thinking about starting to purchase bulks of tissue, dish washing liquid, soaps, and cleaners online too. I hope this isn’t weird but its way more convenient than walking to the store in the winter. It wouldn’t be so bad if we actually had a sidewalk to walk on – negative. The big semi trucks pass us and it’s pretty scary!

    • Oh I’m with you. I buy formula in bulk from Sam’s Club but it’s actually cheaper if they ship it to my house! Beats taking both my girls out in the cold for a couple of things!
