I participated in a campaign with Mom Central to review the Urbini Hummingbird Stroller. All opinions are my own.

I’m a sucker for baby gear, especially baby gear that is functional past the baby years. I’ve always thought that umbrella stroller seats are too small for wiggly toddlers. But this Urbini Hummingbird Stroller has a much bigger seat than other lightweight strollers.

When I say lightweight, I’m not kidding either. This stroller weighs 7 pounds. It doesn’t fold up as small as an umbrella stroller but the fact that it’s so light makes up for it. Makes it easy for my oldest to help push her sister around when I’m shopping…did I say that? You’d think it wasn’t a sturdy stroller but it has an aluminum frame which is why it is so light.

It has a 5 point harness that you can wear as a 3 point lap belt also if your little one likes to move around a lot. It also has comfy shoulder strap covers so that it won’t rub your child’s neck.

The sunshade isn’t huge, but again, it’s bigger than a regular umbrella stroller. It’s great when I can put the seat in the reclining position though. It helps a lot when it’s down. When my little ones gets sleepy she likes to lay back in her seat. I like that this Hummingbird does that. 20140410-112316.jpg

The reclining strap is super easy to use, I can quickly lay it down or prop it back up. The storage area in the bottom is the perfect size for a diaper bag or purse below. There is a two step lock in the handle for opening and closing the stroller. This prevents it from folding up with your child in it. It’s fairly easy to use. Great safety feature.

Here is what the stroller looks like folded up. It stands up in the folded position also. Which makes it nice when you’re packing everything up in a hurry. Both back wheels have a lock on them so it doesn’t roll away. My daughter can step in and out of the stroller when you take the swivel arm bar. She simple steps on the foot rest to get down. She likes the freedom.

All in all I like this Urbini Hummingbird Stroller a lot. My 2 year old fits nicely into it and I don’t have to get my big bulky stroller out when I’m running errands. It’s so light that it makes the perfect everyday stroller.

You can find the Urbini Hummingbird Stroller at Walmart. Read my review on Walmart.com. Check out the Urbini Facebook and Twitter pages
