Celebrate this Valentine’s Day by enjoying cocktails, dancing and desserts in the most romantic setting in town – the Atlanta Botanical Garden, where in February fragrant orchids set a romantic mood with an exotic backdrop.

Valentines in the Garden, set for 7 – 11 p.m. on Friday, February 14, will feature decadent chocolates and other scrumptious sweets while visitors sip cocktails from cash bars, dance to live entertainment, and explore Orchid Daze: Lasting Impressions by night. The annual exhibition, from February 8 – April 13, highlights thousands of blooms in the Garden’s nationally renowned collection of species orchids. This year’s theme celebrates three artists who found inspiration in the beauty of landscapes and gardens:  Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, and Paul Gaughin.

“Orchids are such intriguingly odd flowers we wanted to celebrate them through the eyes of artists who, through nature, discovered new ways of seeing and perceiving the world,” said Mary Pat Matheson, the Garden’s president and CEO. “Hopefully, visitors will revel in their perceptions of fantastic plants, and what better time to celebrate orchids than on Valentine’s Day!”

Tickets will be available through ticketalternative.com. For more information, visit atlantabotanicalgarden.org .

    Firebird
    really liked it
Firebird is a solid dark romantasy read. You have dragon-shifter political leaders of Rome. A witch who I don’t think we have seen the full extent of her power yet. There were so many little side stories told that I believe our FMC will ...
    Sunrise on the Reaping
    it was amazing
Oh Haymich, my heart is shattered for you. This was the perfect bridge between The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes and Catching Fire. Linking the wickedness of The Hunger Games with the victors who came together to end them. If Suzanne C...
    Some Like It Scot
    liked it
This was a sweet romance read. I really enjoyed the audiobook narrators (Joshua Manning and Stina Nielsen). I don’t usually read books that fall into the religious category, but I’m a sucker for Scots and Irishman so that is why I wanted...
    My Demon Hunter
    really liked it
I am thoroughly enjoying the Hell Bent series. My Demon Hunter was even better than My Funny Demon Valentine. I’m a sucker for demonology stories, and these are filled with all kinds of interesting characters. This one features a plus-si...
