Watermelon season is in full swing and you can find bins and bins of the yummy melon. One of my favorite kinds is the Sugar Baby. They are smaller and sweeter than the larger melons.
Since this watermelon is smaller, it's easier to cut. Cut it into half, and then cut them again into one-inch half discs. Then slice them like pizza slices.
With a sharp knife, cut a small slit in the center part of the green rind. Don't go into the red part of the watermelon. Use a large craft stick or popsicle stick and firmly push through each slit.
You can decorate with extra fruit and some coconut flakes. For an added bonus, try drizzling some honey onto the watermelon.
This makes for a great healthy snack.
