Our children are our future. Not just the people that may be taking care of us when we can no longer take care of ourselves, but they have to live with choices that are being made now. So if we destroy our planet now, our children and our children’s children have to live with it. Which means we need to be teaching our children to take care of the planet. To reduce, reuse and recycle.

I love that Repreve is turning recycled plastics into a sustainable fabric. Fabric that you may have in your home already and didn’t even know it. We found a handful of products in our home! Pants, this green beanie and even car seats. But they can’t make these things with out recycled plastics. More people need to be making a conscience effort to recycle. If there isn’t a recycling bin next to the trash can, hold onto it until you can find a recycling bin. It isn’t going to hinder your life if you hang on to it until you can properly dispose of it. But it will if tons of plastic end up in our landfills to sit forever.220_390a772ca6c80072db49c4198f574370
