Why I’m Obsessed with Amazon Dash Buttons

When Amazon announced Dash Buttons two years ago, everyone thought it was an April Fools joke. But at the same time, I secretly hoped they were real because as a busy mother, full-time student, and work at home parent, I forget things a lot. We run out of the basic necessities and our favorite products a lot. With Dash Buttons, I can quickly order the things I’ve run out of and get them super fast. I have at least 5 Dash Buttons in my house now. When they first came out, there were only a few to choose from, but now there are over 250 now! When I run out of toilet paper, push the Dash Button, and it sends a signal over Wi-fi to my device that has the Amazon app on it. It places the order, and the product arrives with Prime free shipping.

Some of the Dash Buttons I have include laundry products, toilet paper, and dog treats. My latest Dash Buttons are my favorite though.
Honest Kids and
Happy Belly now has Dash Buttons. The girls get Honest Kids in their lunch boxes and for an afternoon snack. In celebration of the two-year anniversary of the Amazon Dash Button, from March 31 – April 7, customers can buy an Amazon Dash Button for $0.99 and still receive a $4.99 credit back after their first press of the button. Amazon Dash Buttons are essentially free—with the first order through a Dash Button, members receive a $4.99 credit to their Amazon account.

Setting up a Dash Buttons is really easy. When it arrives, you will set it up in the Amazon app (iOS and Android) to select the product that you want to be associated with your Dash Button. Happy Belly has snacks and coffee to choose from, while Honest Kids has different flavors of juice pouches. Once you have it all setup you can store the Dash Button in the location you use that product. So when you run out of it, you can quickly reorder. I one in the bathroom, laundry room, and even inside the dog treat bowl. The other I store in the pantry where I keep my Happy Belly snacks and Honest Kids pouches.

Since discovering Happy Belly snacks, I’ve become obsessed with their Sweet and Spicy Trail Mix. I keep it at my desk to munch on throughout the day. When I run out, I push my Happy Belly Dash Button in the pantry and a couple days later I have two big bags at my door. I’m such an Amazon junkie. Grab your Dash Buttons now to try them out!
