World War Z Was AWESOME!

I’m not a big zombie movie fan. Well, I take that back. I like Resident Evil but only the first one. It became too insane after that. So I was a little skeptical about seeing World War Z. Then I learned that Brad Pitt was the star. So I thought to myself, a script must be really good if a big shot like him wanted to do the film. It was worth every second.

Synopsis: A former UN investigator is thrust into the middle of trying to stop what could be the end of the world.  Worldwide destruction sends him around the globe seeking clues about what they are fighting and what it will take to defeat it, as he tries to save the lives of billions of strangers, as well as his own beloved family.

The following contains spoilers. Like, a lot of them. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!

The movie goes right into the chaos immediately. There was no look into why this started happening. Where it started or anything. It was just a normal day with some strange news stories in the background. Then all hell breaks loose. Thank goodness for his former job at the UN he is able to get his family out of the infected areas just in the nick of time.

Keep your eyes glued to the screen because right from the beginning you’ll see clues about the infection as it runs rampant through the streets. It’s a non stop suspense / action movie. You only get a few moments of calm before something else crazy happens. Despite the constant grim look on everything you’ll find a few places in the movie to have a good laugh. Not something you’d expect in a Zombie apocalypse that is taking over the world faster than anyone has dealt with before. 12 seconds, thats how long it takes to turn you. That’s not long before you join in the chaos and start attacking people yourself. They are fast, faster than you sometimes and leap into the air like flying squirrels. Drawn to loud noises.

After searching around the globe for any clues to a cure it is starting to look grim. You can’t cure the dead, but you can prevent the infection. In a strange, unexpected way at that. I would give that away for you though. You’ll just have to see the movie to find out what it is. Trust me, it’s a new look on Zombie movies. If you see it in 3D be prepared for a few to jump out of the screen at you!

So good, I’d see it again.  It is in theaters now nationwide!

Firebird
really liked it
Firebird is a solid dark romantasy read. You have dragon-shifter political leaders of Rome. A witch who I don’t think we have seen the full extent of her power yet. There were so many little side stories told that I believe our FMC will ...
Sunrise on the Reaping
it was amazing
Oh Haymich, my heart is shattered for you. This was the perfect bridge between The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes and Catching Fire. Linking the wickedness of The Hunger Games with the victors who came together to end them. If Suzanne C...

This was a sweet romance read. I really enjoyed the audiobook narrators (Joshua Manning and Stina Nielsen). I don’t usually read books that fall into the religious category, but I’m a sucker for Scots and Irishman so that is why I wanted...
My Demon Hunter

I am thoroughly enjoying the Hell Bent series. My Demon Hunter was even better than My Funny Demon Valentine. I’m a sucker for demonology stories, and these are filled with all kinds of interesting characters. This one features a plus-si...
