In a shallow bowl, combine the eggs, cream, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. No need to add sugar to this mix as the stollen has sugar in the bread, plus the raisins and the powdered sugar top adds sweetness as well (plus the syrup garnish).
Heat a frying pan with the oil
Fry the slices of the stollen 2 – 3 minutes or until golden brown. Flip and fry the other side the same.
To serve, place a dollop of butter on the toast and garnish with powdered sugar and/or syrup.
